Paul wrote Edible Plants of Nyack and Beyond, as a guide to folks living in and around the village where he lived, in New York, and many other similar villages in temperate climates throughout the world.

It is not a field guide to recognizing plants, but tells you what you can do with them once you've found them. It contains lots of colorful images, recipes and useful tips.

In this second edition, the book covers more species with more complete information on each one.
